Delays after ‘nasty’ West Gate Bridge crash
A “nasty” crash on the West Gate Bridge is causing delays.
Three of the five lanes on the bridge are closed out-bound following a collision between a truck and a car.
Chris Miller from the Department of Transport says motorists can expect delays for a while yet.
“The truck has jackknifed meaning it’ll take a while to clear,” he told Dee Dee.
“Delays are building, they’re stretching across the bridge at the moment and they’re likely to get a lot worse.”
Motorists are advised to use the Bolte Bridge and Footscray Road.
