Dee Dee Dunleavy speaks with bronze medal winner Tess Coady

Bronze medal winner Tess Coady says a serious knee injury just days before the 2018 Winter Olympics fuelled her desire to make the 2022 games.

Dee Dee Dunleavy spoke with Tess from China on Monday after claiming bronze in the women’s slopestyle snowboarding.

The St Kilda local said the heartbreak of missing out last time was a driving factor in her success this time around.

“That was such a pivotal moment in my snowboarding career,” she said.
