Dashcam plea following shocking nurse hit-run
A nurse has been seriously injured in a hit-run at Sunshine.
The woman, 29, was using the pedestrian crossing on Furlong Road about 9.50pm yesterday when she was hit by a dark-coloured ute that had gone through the red light.
Police say the driver didn’t appear to even consider stopping to offer assistance.
The woman remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Police have made a public appeal to find the driver.
They believe the car will have damage to the left front of the ute, and are appealing to any anyone who may have dash camera footage in the area at the time.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit an anonymous report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
