Daria Gavrilova sorry for ‘horrible’ behaviour at Australian Open

Australian Open surprise packet Daria Gavrilova has apologised for her ‘horrible’ behaviour during Sunday night’s fourth round loss to Carla Suarez Navarro.

Gavrilova, 21, was visibly frustrated during the latter stages of her three-set defeat and appeared to let the pressure of the situation get to her on Rod Laver Arena.

The newly-adopted Australian said after the match she acted like a ‘spoilt brat’ and was ’emotionally fried’.

I was a spoiled brat out there… Emotionaly fried…… sorry about my horrible behavior ?
