Damning report into Victoria’s fire services finds culture of harassment, sexism and bullying

A damning report into Victoria’s fire services has found the system is rife with bullying, harassment, sexism and dangerously low morale.

Emergency Services Minister Jane Garrett told Neil Mitchell there were ‘major concerns’ about an ‘entrenched’ culture.

‘It’s just not acceptable in 2016,’ she said on 3AW Mornings.

The State Government says it will accept 18 of the 20 recommendations from the report – but will not merge the MFB and CFA.
