Cunnington backs Wells to have an impact in 2016

North midfielder Ben Cunnington has rated Daniel Wells as ‘one of the best players in the comp’ when fully fit.

Wells has played just 12 games in the last two years due to persistent injury.

But Cunnington told Sports Today that is all behind him.

?‘He’s been flying and pulling up really well,’ he said.

‘He’s such a silky mover and great decision-maker… it’s good signs for the season.’

Cunnington, who extended his contract on Tuesday, said he’s happy he won’t have to deal with rival clubs trying to attract him.
