Crowd capacity increases for Australian Open finals!
Crowd limits at the Australian Open have been lifted again!
Rod Laver Arena will be able to be at 80 per cent capacity for the weekend’s finals.
Martin Pakula announced the news on Friday night after Neil Mitchell called for an increase in crowds earlier in the day.
Ash Barty will look to win her home title against Danielle Collins on Saturday night, before an all-Australian men’s doubles final.
Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis will face-off against fellow countrymen Matt Ebden and Max Purcell in what shapes as a blockbuster night at the Australian Open.
Back on Twitter again (itโs really nicer away from here), but..
Iโm pleased to advise that following consideration of a request from Tennis Australia for a higher cap, the ticketed capacity of the AO has been increased to 80% for the finals on Saturday & Sunday ๐ฆ๐บ๐บ๐ธ๐ฌ๐ท ๐ฎ๐น ๐ช๐ธ ๐ท๐บ
