Crime scene established after body found at major Melbourne shopping centre

A crime scene has been established after a body was found in the car park of a shopping centre in Melbourne’s southeast.

Police have confirmed a member of the public located the body at Westfield Southland in Cheltenham at around 5:30am on Thursday morning, after a caller alerted 3AW Breakfast to a significant police presence in the area.

Police later said they believed the death was non-suspicious.
