Cricket Australia CEO announces resignation
Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland is standing down.
The decision will take effect in 12 months.
It comes after Australian cricket lost its head coach, captain, and vice-captain in the ball-tampering scandal.
But Sutherland said that did not impact on his decision.
“It just feels like a good time to hand over the reins to a successor,” he said.
Sutherland has been in the role for 17 years.
