Craig Hutchison joins Ross and John ahead of his debut as host of The Footy Show

The new co-host of The Footy Show says there’s one key difference between he and his predecessors. 

‘The three hosts before me all began from a position of mass popularity – I’m beginning from a position of widespread uncertainty from people,’ Craig Hutchison told Ross and John with a laugh on Thursday.?

The former newsbreaker says he didn’t think twice when he was asked to fill the role.

‘How could you? It’s one of the great honours in Australian television,’ he told Ross and John ahead of his official debut.

‘I can’t wait – it’s going to be a lot of fun.’
