Council bans alcohol completely at St Kilda beach until mid-February
Thinking of heading to St Kilda beach for a drink this summer? Time to think again…
The City of Port Phillip has extended its 24-hour alcohol ban until February 15.
The ban, which happens every New Year period, was initially meant to expire on January 5.
Mayor Bernadene Voss openly admitted on 3AW Drive it was a result of the chaos on Christmas Day.
“Oh, absolutely,” she said.
