Commuters fall out of tram after doors open on the wrong side

Commuters have fallen into the path of oncoming traffic after the doors of a Melbourne tram opened on the wrong side.

The incident happened on the No.96 around 5pm Monday.

A caller to Rumour File says the tram was full and passengers fell out into the path of an oncoming tram.

Thankfully, nobody was seriously hurt.

‘People were leaning against (the door) ? it was a crowded tram,’ he explained.

‘They were caught and dragged back into the tram.’
