Communications tower damaged in bushfire as more residents urged to leave now

Residents in Langi Logan, Maroona, Mininera, Nerrin Nerrin, Rossbridge, Streatham, Tatyoon, Tatyoon North, Westmere have been told to leave immediately.

The communications tower at Mount Williams has been damaged which will impact mobile and internet, relief centres have been set up at Ararat, Stawell, and Hamilton.

VicEmergency is warning erratic winds could result in winds coming from any direction.
