Coles to ditch soft plastic shopping bags

Coles will phase-out soft plastic shopping bags nationwide by the end of June.

The remaining supply of bags will be run down in the coming weeks before they’re gone for good.

The change will remove an estimated 230 million plastic bags from circulation within the next year.
