City Road closed for truck wedged under bridge

A truck has become wedged at a 45-degree angle under the City Road rail bridge in South Melbourne.

City Road was closed out-bound in South Melbourne due to the collision at the rail bridge near Ferrars Street.

Drivers had to use Clarendon Street and Albert Street to avoid the closure.

The road was closed about 9.50am, after more than an hour of disruptions.
