City of Melbourne to be compensated for trees removed for Metro Rail

The Lord Mayor says the city will be compensated for every tree removed during the construction phase of the Metro Rail Tunnel project.

Artists impressions for the tunnel’s future stations, illustrate large established trees near entrances.

Robert Doyle told Neil Mitchell the designs at this stage are only concepts and not necessarily the final product.
