Child left fighting for life after being hit by car in Victoria’s east
A child has been left fighting for life after they were struck by a car at Heyfield in Gippsland.
It’s understood the primary school aged boy was hit shortly after getting off a bus.
Ambulance Victoria said it was called to the small country town in Victoria’s east about 3.45pm on Friday.
The boy has been flown to Melbourne with life-threatening injuries.
He is in a critical condition.
