Charlie Dixon to sign five-year deal at Port Adelaide, says Sam ‘Scoop’ McClure

Gold Coast forward Charlie Dixon will sign a five-year, multi-million dollar deal with Port Adelaide, says Sam ‘Scoop’ McClure.

The Sports Today newsbreaker said Dixon would agree to a deal worth around $3.5 million to reunite with former Suns assistant Ken Hinkley at the Power.

Fremantle is also understood to have made a big play for the injury-prone talent.

‘It’s my understanding Fremantle put an equally big, if not bigger, offer in front of Dixon,’ Scoop said on Sports Today.

‘But the lure to reunite with Ken Hinkley was too much to pass up on.’
