Champion Data defends controversial Tom Mitchell ranking

Champion Data has explained why Tom Mitchell couldn’t crack the top 10 ranked players leading into next year, despite the Brownlow medallist’s record-breaking 2018.

Daniel Hoyne told Sportsday rankings came over the space of two seasons and Mitchell’s last 10 rounds of 2018 were by far his best, statistically, over the past two years.
