Former Collingwood player turned Essendon assistant coach Travis Cloke has confirmed the incredible story of how his cat turned up five weeks after going missing.

The 3AW Rumour File was told the cat hitched a ride in a toolkit of a washing machine technician, going on a five-week long journey before being found in Spotswood.

Travis Cloke later joined 3AW Breakfast to confirmed the story.

“It is absolutely correct and we’re still amazed we got the call (to say the cat was found),” he told Mark Allen and Jimmy Bartel.
