Caroline Wilson lifts the lid on Laura Kane’s AFL exec ‘power struggle’

Caroline Wilson has lifted the lid on the “power struggle” which gone on at AFL House in recent months.
The AFL recently announced fresh changes in their football departments, with long-time administrator Geoff Walsh expanding his role and former real estate boss Nick Carah brought in as football operations boss.
Caro told 3AW Football a “tricky” situation had unfolded in recent months as football boss Laura Kane restructured her department.

“Clearly there’s been a power struggle that’s gone on between Laura Kane and Andrew Dillon and other executives,” she said on 3AW.
“Laura Kane wanted her man in Nick Carah, who she has a past connection … to come in and be the GM of Football and replace Josh Mahoney.”
