Carlton Dry recall due to glass fears
Carlton & United Breweries has been forced to recall 43,000 slabs of Carlton Dry due to fears glass may be inside the bottles.
It’s believed an error may have occurred during the ‘filling’ process during production at Yatala, Queensland.
‘It relates to one particular batch, so we can work out exactly where it’s gone,’ company spokesperson Jennifer Howard told 3AW Drive.
‘We think it’s mainly Queensland, NSW and the ACT, but we’ve gone for a national recall just in case.’
The affected stock has best before dates of 19/7/16 and 20/7/16.
Ms Howard said anybody with concerns should contact 1800 007 282.
