Delays on the Princes Freeway after caravan flip
A large caravan is on its side on the Princes Freeway.
The caravan has flipped out-bound, just before the Point Cook Road exit.
Three out-bound lanes are closed.
Witness Wayne says the van unhitched from the ute towing it.
“The trailer hit the ute and spun around into the wall,” he told Neil Mitchell.
Chris Miller from the Department of Transport says a crane will be needed to get the caravan upright.
“The disruption is probably likely to go for an hour or two,” he said.
“Delays are likely to get pretty lengthy, I’d suggest.”
