Car smashes through front window of bakehouse in Melbourne’s south-east

A car has gone through the front of a bakery at Mount Waverley.

The front window of The Swiss Bakehouse shattered on Tuesday afternoon.

3AW understands the driver of the car was attempting to reverse when the car shot forward, smashing the front facade of the store, just off Stephensons Road.

The bakery had only recently been renovated.

Luckily, nobody was injured.
