Car flips in the middle of the Eastern Freeway

A car has flipped on the Eastern Freeway, causing peak hour problems.

3AW Drive was alerted to the crash on Thursday afternoon.

It saw three outbound lanes closed near Middleborough Road.

Victoria Police arrived to help direct traffic.
