‘Cannot be trusted’: Opposition Leader fires back following state budget announcement

Opposition Leader John Pesutto has reacted to Tuesday’s state budget announcement.

Pesutto believes that many Victorians are feeling the pain of land tax, stamp duty and pay roll tax as they continue to go up at “exorbitant” rates.

“Under Labor, those who have caused the problems cannot be relied upon or trusted to fix them.” Mr Pesutto on 3AW Drive.

“The Labor government said they had a debt reduction plan, heading towards 200 billion dollars of debt by the financial year 27/28.”
