Motorists over the age of 75 could be subject to annual medical assessments, after they were found to have been responsible for at least 145 deaths, and thousands of injuries on Victorian roads in the last five years.

Geriatrician, Dr Kate Gregorevic, says, it’s difficult to discuss medical issues with elderly people.

“If this was a regular part of your annual health assessment, it would just normalise the conversation,” she told Ross and Russel.
