Calls for Australia’s ‘flawed’ recycling system to be simplified
Tom Elliott is the first to admit he finds Australia’s recycling rules confusing.
Some plastics are allowed in the recycling bin, others are not.
And even those rules vary from council to council.
“So many of us try and do the right thing but our system is too hard, too complicated,” he said.
But why is it the case?
