Calls for Australia to follow Ireland’s lead with alcohol ‘warning labels’

There are calls for Australia to follow Ireland’s lead and introduce new laws that will require warning stickers and comprehensive health warnings on alcoholic drink bottles.

It would come in similar form to cigarette packaging in Australia.

Professor Robin Room, of the Centre for Alcohol Policy Research, told Tom Elliott it wasn’t the worst idea.
