Caller describes ‘eerie’ feeling in Ballarat due to fire in state’s west

One Ballarat resident has described the ‘eerie’ feeling as a fire burns in nearby Beaufort.

Caller Shae said on 3AW Drive she could see ash falling out of the sky and could smell the smoke.

“It is so eerie,” she told Jacqui Felgate.
