Caleb Marchbank nominates Carlton as preferred club

Caleb Marchbank wants to join Carlton.

The GWS youngster, taken with pick No.6 in 2014, has nominated the Blues as his preferred club after he recently requested a trade back to Victoria.

Collingwood, Essendon and St Kilda had also been linked to the promising defender.

The Blues will need to satisfy the Giants at the trade table before any deal goes through.

‘The club will work closely with both Greater Western Sydney and Caleb’s management to come to a suitable arrangement,’ Carlton list manager Stephen Silvagni said.
