Burnley Tunnel collision forces peak-hour lane closure

A truck and car have collided in the Burnley Tunnel, forcing the right hand lane to close.

City-bound traffic on the West Gate freeway is banked up and caller Dave told Justin Smith the car was “turned around” in the tunnel.

“It look like the truck has hit the car and put a big hole in its side and turned him around 180 degrees,” he said.
