Brisbane football boss lifts lid on ‘little bit eerie’ mood ahead of cyclone

Brisbane football boss Danny Daly has lifted the lid on how his side has had to change their plans as Cyclone Alfred causes havoc with the start of the season.
With the Lions’ season-opening clash against Geelong rescheduled, Daly said the club held a full match simulation on Wednesday night before players and staff were sent home to bunker down ahead of the cyclone hitting Brisbane.
