Brazen armed robbery at Deer Park shopping centre
There’s been an armed robbery at Brimbank Shopping Centre.
Angelo alerted Neil Mitchell to the incident at Deer Park on Thursday morning.
“I just arrived and they (police) wouldn’t let me in,” he said.

Police have since provided an update.
Gang Crime Squad detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a shopping centre in Deer Park today.
It’s believed three offenders arrived in a stolen vehicle at the carpark on the eastern side of the Station Road shopping centre about 10.40am
The males entered the shopping centre armed with sledgehammers and crow bars.
They walked into a jewellery store, smashing numerous cabinets, stealing a large amount of jewellery.
The offenders then ran back to the stolen car and travelled south on Neale Road.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The males are perceived to be of African appearance and were wearing white jumpsuits
The vehicle is described as a white VW Golf sedan with registration 1KF3EA.
