Brad Battin’s urgent message for Jacinta Allan on the Suburban Rail Loop

State opposition leader Brad Battin has urged Premier Jacinta Allan to cancel the Suburban Rail Loop immediately.

It comes in response to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who backed in the project, stating it’s viable on 3AW Drive on Monday afternoon.

“It’s very interesting the Prime Minister saying he’s going to support it but not fund it,” Battin told Jacqui Felgate.

“The project should be cancelled now.

“We have seen for too often, too many reports coming out that this is an unaffordable project, it’s going to cost Victorians for a long period of time.”
