‘Both extraordinary runs’: Peter Ford pays tribute to two ‘titans’ of Melbourne broadcasting

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has paid tribute to two “titans” of Melbourne broadcasting in Peter Hitchener and Neil Mitchell.

Hitchener finishes up reading the 6pm news bulletins during the week on Channel Nine tonight, moving to weekend work, while Mitchell finishes up as 3AW Mornings host tomorrow morning.

“Both extraordinary runs and both brilliant broadcasters,” Ford told Ross and Russel.
