Boroondara deputy mayor reacts to embarrassing social media blunder from Jacinta Allan
Victorian Premier Jacinta put up a social media post last night highlighting the view of the suburb of Camberwell, in light of the state government’s plan to build 60,000 new homes across 10 suburbs.

The only problem is the photo was actually showing Hawthorn East, not Camberwell, which was confirmed by the deputy mayor of the City of Boroondara Felicity Sinfield.

“It doesn’t give me much confidence in the Premier or the state’s ability to deliver this project frankly,” Ms Sinfield told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.
The deputy mayor also called in yesterday, voicing her concerns on the plan to put high-rise apartments in Camberwell area, claiming there was no community consultation and she found out about it in the paper.
“I’m really deeply concerned … it’s quite frightening,” she said.
