Bizarre CCTV captures Geelong’s ‘brisket bandit’

Bizarre CCTV footage has emerged of Geelong’s ‘brisket bandit’ striking Quban Bar on Malop Street.

The thief managed to pinch seven kilograms of meat off the barbecue in the early hours of Saturday morning, while the grill had been left momentarily unattended.

Rob Swander was in charge of the grill at the time and told Tony Jones he couldn’t believe what had happened.

‘I think he knew what he was doing, judging by the video,’ he said on 3AW Mornings.

‘It’s some of the oddest footage I’ve ever seen.’
