Government Services Minister Bill Shorten has given a HEATED reaction to the illegal Robodebt scheme.
The Royal Commission into the scheme handed down its final report, recommending criminal charges for some of the program’s architects.
More than 500,000 welfare recipients were unlawfully sent automated debt notices over four years.

“Clearly the old government were lying, lying, lying,” Shorten told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.
Shorten then took aim at Scott Morrison, after the former Prime Minister rejected any involvement in the scheme, claiming he “doesn’t take responsibility” and is a “ministerial bobblehead”.
