Planning for a day of fun and festivity is underway to bring joy to the community struck by the school bus crash in Eynesbury and the first responders who attended.

Neil Mitchell put the call out for ideas to help those affected by the Exford Primary School bus crash in May, and was overwhelmed by generous offers — so the ‘Big Hug’ was born!

Wes Balentine, CEO of IntelliHUB Group, who is managing the event, says there will be a “real carnival atmosphere” at an invitation-only event on October 8. But he needs help! Traffic controllers, food trucks and carnival rides are still needed for the event.
