Bentleigh’s so-called ‘Canyon of crime’ is back.

3AW Mornings helped get kilometres of graffiti cleaned off one of Melbourne’s newest public transport corridors last month.

Unfortunately, it’s only been a temporary fix.

“It’s back and increasing more each day,” Liberal candidate for Bentleigh, Asher Judah, told Neil Mitchell.

“It was back within 48 hours.”

He said the only way the problem would be fixed was through an increased police presence.

“We want more police patrols in the area,” Mr Judah said.
