‘Banning isn’t the answer’: Poll reveals Australians want better vape regulations
A poll conducted by RedBridge has revealed 90 per cent of Australians want vapes to be regulated, like nicotine and alcohol, as the illegal nicotine market grows.
CEO of the Australian Association of Convenience Stores, Theo Foukkare, says Australians have “woken up” and want strict regulations that will allow adults to vape recreationally while better protecting children.
“Minister Butler.. said we’re going to double ban it, so we’re going to double down on this failed prescription model, and since then, all we’ve seen is a continual explosion…” he said.
