Today is Back to Hogwarts day, which celebrates Harry Potter and his friends boarding the Hogwarts Express to return to Hogwarts for another school year.

The celebrations on this day are always big in London with Kings Cross Station being a popular destination for Harry Potter fans, where timetables are changed so fans can board on platform nine and three quarters!

It’s the first time the day has been celebrated officially in Melbourne due to the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child production, which will tribute the iconic series in a special way tonight.

Aisha Aidara, who portrays Rose Granger-Weasley, spoke to Dee Dee on what fans can expect tonight at The Princess Theatre.

“It feels like a party, there’s so much audience participation,” she said.
