Australia’s unions push for increase to minimum wage
Australia’s unions are pushing for a five per cent increase in the minimum wage.
Inflationary pressures are driving the proposal.
ACTU boss Sally McManus told Tom Elliott wages “hadn’t been growing properly” in Australia over the past decade.
“I think there are some big underlying problems,” she said.
