Australia’s most wanted alleged crime boss arrested in Turkey

Australia’s most wanted alleged organised crime boss has been arrested by Turkish police.

Investigative journalist at The Age, Nick McKenzie, says Hakan Ayik’s arrest is “a really, really big deal”.

“The cops have been working … very secretly with the Turks and encouraging Turkey to actually arrest him … and prosecute him there which is what they did overnight,” he told Ross and Russel.
