Australia launches national household battery recycling scheme

Australia’s first national recycling scheme for household batteries launched today.

It commenced with 23 drop-off locations across the country.

Hundreds more will open in the coming weeks.

Libby Chaplin, Chief Executive Officer at Battery Stewardship Council, told Tom Elliott those who wanted to recycle should head to bcycle.com.au to find their nearest location.
