Attendee at comedy festival describes tragic ordeal as fan dies mid-performance

An attendee at the opening night of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival on Wednesday has detailed the tragic ordeal after a fan died mid-performance.
The show at the Palais Theatre was eventually called off, and Mimi, who was seated two rows behind the man, said it was disappointing the show wasn’t stopped earlier.
“It was seriously tough conditions for these people to care for this gentleman,” Mimi told Ross and Russel on 3AW Breakfast.
