At least 18 Victorian COVID-19 testing sites closed due to extreme heat
At least 18 COVID-19 testing sites in Victoria have had to close due to the extreme weather.
With the temperature in Melbourne soaring to 38°C, and temperatures up to 10 degrees higher in testing tents, as well as staff in full PPE, the sites have been closed for the safety of staff.
The closed sites:

- Chelsea Basketball Stadium, Bonbeach
- Chisholm Tafe, Berwick
- Deer Park IPC, Deer Park
- Empress Rd, St Kilda
- Frankston Hospital, Frankston
- Hamstead Rd, Maidstone
- IYU Pakenham, Pakenham
- Melton FNC, Toolern Vale
- Mickleham Rd, Tullamarine
- Monash Health, Dandenong
- Monash Uni, Clayton
- Northern Health, Craigieburn
- Showgrounds Building 1, Ascot Vale
- Vic Uni, Werribee East
- Wantirna Trash and Treasure, Wantirna
- Wyuna Walk Drive-through, Mooroolbark
