Anthony Albanese leaves Jewish community ‘upset’ after attending October 7 vigil
A member of Melbourne’s Jewish community has called out Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for his attendance at a vigil commemorating the one year anniversary of Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel.
Mr Albanese didn’t speak, but was reportedly jeered at the Moorabbin event where over 6,000 people attended.
Michael, who was also in attendance, accused the Prime Minister of attending purely to make a political point.

“Most of the Jewish community were upset (when told Anthony Albanese was attending),” he said on 3AW Drive.
“This particular event was not a place for people who are not on our side, we think he was there for (political purposes).”
