Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has forecasted what Australians can expect from tonight’s federal budget.

He told Tom Elliott there will be “cost of living relief” in the budget, while also addressing topics of inflation, immigration and his thoughts on the protests currently occurring at Monash University.

“A part of tonight’s budget is about dealing with those immediate cost of living pressures, but also having an eye on the future,” Albanese said.
